Procedure and payment

Step 1. 
Select (gladly several) suitable pictures of your animal and send them to me without obligation by e-mail, indicating the desired format to [email protected].
Please pay attention to the criteria under the point "The perfect photo template". I do not want to disappoint you and therefore require a high-resolution reference photo. 
If you have any questions or specific requests, please feel free to let me know.

Step 2.
You will receive an e-mail from me within 2 - 3 days with the following information:
- suitability of your desired photo
- current processing time
- short list of questions (address, delivery address, etc.)
- amount of the total sum and the deposit amount
- amount of the deposit in case of an order
- payment options

Step 3. 
Place your order by mail and pay 30% of the portrait price in advance using a payment method of your choice.

Step 4.
I will create your artwork after receiving the deposit. 
If you would like to be informed about the current processing status, please feel free to contact me.

Step 5.
Once I have created your portrait(s), you will receive a watermarked photo of the finished work to ensure your satisfaction. If you have any requests for changes, feel free to let me know. If you are happy with the result, your work will be sealed with a special artist's fixative to prevent pigment shift. 
If you want to enjoy the "wow effect" when you receive the drawing, please let me know in advance. In this case, I will only inform you in writing by mail upon completion of the drawing and will not send a picture of the artwork in advance.
 
In both cases, please finally pay the corresponding balance. 
Immediately after receipt of payment I will send your order.

The perfect photo template

As you can imagine, the heart of my work is: your animal. 
In order to be able to depict the little soul as true to the original as possible, I need a photo template that shows your darling from its most beautiful side in as much detail as possible. 

The selection of several pictures gives me the opportunity to use the best possible template for your drawing. 
Since I do not want to disappoint you, I will therefore inform you in my first feedback whether your submitted picture meets the quality requirements and I can create a work of art from it according to your ideas, or whether an alternative is necessary. Please do not take this feedback as criticism of your picture. 
If your pet has already passed away, please let me know and we will find a solution together.

My works live - just like your pet - from the details and a few eyelashes or whiskers can be decisive for you to immediately recognize the heartwarming look of your dog or the sugar-sweet little head of your cat. 

Criteria

The individual hairs of the coat should be easily recognizable when zooming in on the photo template. 

Light coats should not be overexposed, dark coats should not be underexposed. 

The eyes should be visible and not covered by hair.

The light reflections in the eye should be visible as well as possible when zooming in. If the environment is reflected in it, the template is most likely very suitable

Please don't be surprised if I ask you why your animal is or was something very special for you and what you like or liked most about it. It sounds a bit peculiar at first - but my drawings live from the "love of animals" and it is much easier for me to create a high quality drawing when the emotion guides the pencil and I can relate to the creature.

Image and usage rights

As you can see from my homepage, the finished artwork and the reference pictures are essential for the presentation of my work.
If you do not agree to a publication of the finished artwork and / or the reference image on my homepage or my Instagram, WhatsApp or Facebook account, please let me know by e-mail when placing the order. 

Of course, I am also happy to take into account specific times for publication (for example, birthdays or the like) so you can be sure that your gift will be a surprise. 

By placing your order, you agree to the use of the submitted image material for the creation of the hand-drawn artwork you ordered.

The publication or reproduction of the finished artwork without my signature or under another name, is not allowed.
